VBCS: Chosing right API Platform

We have to create a web application using VBCS and we want to chose right API plateform. Generally we use JCS with ADF-BC. It gives us support of Java and provide very good inbuilt support for sorting, pagination, filtering. In this case we can't use JCS as we don't have license. Also seems like Oracle is also going away from ADF based development.

We are investigating best option available and what is Oracle's recommendation for API development. Our requirements are from api platform would be

1. Ability to work with ATP database effectively.

2. Ability to call external apis and store credentials securely (As credential store in case of JCS)

Howdy, Stranger!
