Aggregation performance issue in Hybrid BSO

Hi everyone, I have experienced calculation performance issues related to Hybrid BSO (when comparing to on-prem) when formulas rely on attribution associations and have seen others refer to similar issues with dynamic calc members but has anyone experienced issues with pure aggregations?

If I pull down my outline, agg script and data from my cloud app and host on my laptop VM running 11.1.2.4 the agg runs in a few minutes versus hours on cloud.  This leads me to believe Hybrid could be at fault.  I'm going to disable Hybrid in cloud to test my theory but would be interested to know if anyone else has seen this behavior specifically with Aggs.
