Sending zero value to Closing balance input movement

We noted recently that when zero value is sent to closing balance input movement (YTD_Input view) from Data Management (using 'Replace' when exporting), the system does not calculate the correct movement.

Eg. 

March closing balance for Account 'ABC' is 1000

April  closing balance for Account 'ABC' is zero

When zero is sent in April to closing balance input movement (YTD_Input view), system does not recognize the value and carry forward the opening balance of 1000.

Any comments on this?
