How do we define joins between PVOs and is there any easier way of doing joins between PVOs

On the older version of EBS one could have written their own queries on the base tables to get the required data but with the move to ERP Cloud it seems we have taken a step backward removing that flexibility or rather limiting that flexibility (if one considers executing the query from BIP) by introducing the PVOs. We do not have the exact joins which may have been used in the PVOs or the guide similar to eTRM which gives us the joins between PVOs or the tables underneath the PVOs. Can anyone point me to these details if it
