Best practice for setting up databases on quarter Exadata Rack

Hi All,

A customer has subscribed for quarter Exadata Rack.

The requirement is to have multiple PDBs for Cloud native application which will comprise of support as well as production instances.

So, we have two options:

1. We can have two CDBs, each for Prod and Support environments where respective PDBs can be spawned as required

2. We can go for all PDBs within same CDB for both support and production environments.

Out of above two options which is the best recommendation to ensure fault tolerance, cost savings and maximum availability?
