Issue with formula referring to another grid in same report in Narrative reporting

There is a requirement in a report to refer values from one grid to another grid in the same report. The cell which has the formula to refer to another grid is not showing up the value although there is data in the grid which it is referring to. The formula is correct and the report has no validation errors. Has anybody faced the same issue in Reports in Narrative Reporting
