Since Reports (previously Management Reporting) is available in both Narrative Reporting and the EPM Cloud Platform, going forward this monthly post will include the announcements and new features for Reports and Narrative Reporting, including report packages.

Please refer to the March 2021 What’s New guide to understand the new features included in EPM Cloud Release 21.03.

Narrative Reporting Report Packages - New doclet versioning optimization:

In Report Packages, the Doclet versioning process has been updated to minimize the impact of repetitive automated check-ins. Previously, any system update to a Doclet file, like updating variable values or embedded content, resulted in a new Doclet version being generated. Now the system will only generate a new Doclet version on an automated update if the prior version was created by a user initiated check in. Repetitive automated check-ins will be fully audited but will no longer cause new versions to be generated.
