Hi All,

We are currently in a requirements gathering session for a client in power and utility sector. In the power and utility sector, they have a process to upload certificate of Insurance(COI) for all the suppliers. The COI is valid for a minimum 7 years and the would upload a new copy post 7 years. We know that when a attachment is created for a supplier, it goes and sits in the UCM area. What we want to know is

a) Is there a retention policy by oracle for attachments. Can they continue to have the attachments endlesssly till they are subscribed to oracle or does oracle clear those attachments after certain years based on any policy? If there is a retention policy how many years can we maintain documents
