Ability to create job dependencies in OIC scheduler
Summary
When scheduling jobs in OIC, there is no option to create dependencies between jobs.Content
When scheduling jobs in OIC, there is no option to create dependencies (ie) job B should run only when job A is completed.
We can currently schedule jobs to run at various times, but job B does not wait till job A finishes.
We have a situation where we are deleting and reloading a table (job A), during which time the other jobs (for example job looking for this data should not run. Since we cant define a dependency between job a & job B, we are looking at the average duration of Job A and adding 15 minutes to schedule job B. This is not an efficient method. If job A overruns the duration we have defined, then job B fails as data is not available.
