Tips for Setting up Rule Set for Supplier Registration

1. Use question branching

If the qualification areas specified on the rule set for Registration include branching questions, you can choose to get the responses to the branching questions during supplier registration by checking “Use question branching”. Then branching questions will also be present for the supplier to responses for during external supplier registration.

2. Automatically create qualifications

When you check “Automatically create qualifications”, qualifications will be created directly with the responses collected during registration upon supplier approval. If you only want to set up a questionnaire for the external supplier registration event to collect responses from suppliers, but do not need any qualifications to be created, then you can uncheck the checkbox for “Automatically create qualifications”.
