Export Dimensions filtering on Hierarchies

in Oracle PBCS, we are currently exporting dimensions (metadata) to csv files for our BI team using Exporting Meta data jobs and epmautomate utility to automate the handoff for upload to their data warehouse. Due to the multiple hierarchies that exist in our dimensions, for example in our Account dimension, we are being asked if we can separate the hierarchies extract by filtering or generating separate hierarchy files for them, assuming minimizing intervention on the database side or dumping to Excel and writing a macro, can the meta extracts be filtered by hierarchies ?
