How to run report with effective date parameter

Hi,

In OTBI, we can run a report with an effective date by putting for example SET VARIABLE PARAM_EFFECTIVE_DATE='2021-07-31'; in the PREFIX. This would show us how the data looked on a specific day in the past/future.

How would we do this in OAC/FAW? I have created a report based on the HCM Core Subject Area but I wish to run it as of a certain date - ultimately I would have this as a prompt so the user can set the effective date themselves e,g, Run report as of..

You can look at time dimension defined for specific day transactions- like headcount, retention, current workforce size etc. for specific point in time analysis, you can use snapshot data sets. for e.g What was my headcount as of specific period end date or week end date (these are frequently used) or turnover count / percentage.
