Combining two segments into one dimension in Data Management

Hi there,

I am new to Data Management/Data Exchange and we have a dimension in our planning application where we've taken two segments from ERP and combined them into one dimension. How do I join the two segments in data management when bringing in actuals from the GL? Is it in the Import Format or do I need to use Multi Dimension Mapping? How do I then split the dimension back into the two segments when pushing the budget into budgetary control?
