Is the Fixed lot size multiplier field in PIM and Fixed lot multiplier in Item Sub inventory same

In this scenario, the client does not have item subinventories so in order to set up round re-order quantity functionality for min-max planning that is set at the organization level. Will it work when we set the fixed lot size multiplier for each item in PIM work area and enable the check box round re-order quantity in Manage Inventory Organization parameters.
