Suppose OIC integration implemented to invoke REST/SOAP webservice for SaaS operations. 

API call might error out for many different reasons. 


Please help in suggesting for below points

1. How can we identify if SaaS is down? so that transactions failed due to SaaS down can be tried for re-processing once SaaS is available.

2. Are there any suggested approaches to handle transactions immediately when SaaS is available automatically.
