Data from Fusion to PaaS- Real Time without using BIP Reports

Hi All,

Scenario-

We are working on VBCS extensions and we have to get data from Fusion and show it on VBCS UI Page Real Time.

This data will be having a custom view i.e. data would be fetched in from various tables to make the desired data-output View client wants on the VBCS page. We were planning to use BIP Reports to get the desired data (wherever REST API is not available) and then show it on VBCS Page.

Problem-

However, Oracle has recommended that BIP Reports are not best practice to get the data from Fusion to PaaS Extensions.
