Not able to see 'notes' created by another user in Contract Invoices

Is there any specific role that is required to see 'notes' created by another user in contract invoices?

use case: One of the team members create a note in a particular contract invoice and saves it. But when another user queries the same invoice and click on 'notes', the user doesn't see the note previously created by another team member.
