Does forecast consumption get relieved when the forecast becomes past due or expired? let's take the following case

Forecast Due Date: May 30th, Qty 100

Sales Order Due Date: June 3rd, Qty 100 (This sales order consumes forecast due to forward days)

Plan Run Date: May 31st (Above forecast is no longer considered since it has become past due).

In this case, does the forecast consumption which happened in the system earlier gets removed. The other way of asking this question is whether this sales order is now open to consume any other forecast?
