Custom job role: impossible to execute a report even if the custom role has BI Author & BI Consumer

Summary of the question:

I have created a new custom CRM job role.

I have added rights via Application Composer on custom objects.

I have also added the 2 roles BI Author and BI Consumer roles via the security console.

When connected with this user, I navigate to "Reports & Analytics" > Browse catalog, and I try to execute a report, I get the error message : User does not have the necessary BI Application Roles to execute the query.

And when I try to create a new analysis, I cannot see any subject area.
