SmartView Ad-Hoc Grid does not appear when clicking ad-hoc analysis on a cube

Ad-hoc grid does not generate when clicking ad-hoc analysis on a cube, when trying existing files the user cannot move around the file at all.

I have a single user that used a file late Friday afternoon. They logged in yesterday and opened the same file, their cursor is locked in place in a SmartView connected tab. They cannot click on on any other tab - they are locked to the one they are in regardless of whether you try to click or use keyboard shortcuts. We have uninstalled and reinstalled Smartview, both versions 21.2 and 21.1, same case occurs. We've also completely reinstalled microsoft office as well. Both myself and the other system admin can open the file and move around, refresh, change tabs,
