Auto Generated Lot Number across Inventory Organization

Summary:

Dear Experts,

We have an requirement to Auto generate the LOT Number based on the PO and Destination Warehouse combination. The PO can contain items from different item classes or categories.

However during receiving can we auto generate the LOT number and receive all items from a PO against this LOT ID (PO Number + Destination Warehouse). Thus the same LOT ID should be used throughout the lifecyle(inventory warehouse movement between and within warehouses) of the item until it is expensed out or release from the warehouse.

Is this ask supported by standard product(LOT ID) generation?
