Pareto Analysis as a basis to segment Item as A, B & C Class

Summary:

Our client classifies items as A Class, B Class and C Class based on Pareto Analysis for shipments history value. A Class items are the ones which contribute 80% of total sales value while B Class contributes to cumulative 95% and remaining as C Class.

Can we achieve the same classification via Segmentation process?

Please note: We are using DM cloud for planning while the source erp is EBS.
