In Constrained Planning, system is not suggesting substitute item for a manually created Planned Order or for a system generated planned order after firm-up.
For the same item, the system recommends substitute components on a system-generated planned order in non-firm status.
When we FIRM System generated Planned Orders or Manual Planned Orders, it does not acknowledges Substitute and creates Planned order for Primary.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The Firm Planned Order should consider a Substitute component
Has anybody observed this behaviour earlier? I have raised SR with support, but I am suspect it will go anywhere.
