Item Specific Lot Uniqueness

Summary:

Process MFG Environment. We have 2 stages of manufacturing; the BULK product and then the packaged Container/SKU.

The Lot for the BULK Product = the Lot for the Packaged SKU FG items

The BULK Lot is to be auto-generated and unique across all BULK Items.

If this was an On-Prem environment, I'd set Lot uniqueness and generation sequence at the Bulk Item and no Uniqueness for the Package SKUs. However, in the cloud, I seem to only be able to set the lot generation at the org level with the uniqueness associated with all items.

Has anyone run into this issue before? If so, how did you approach solving this?
