Is there a REST API or SOAP Webservice to Update Shipment Line Status

Content (required):

Looking for REST API to update shipment line status from 'Ready to Release' to 'Staged' in order to support 'Quick Ship Functionality' for Sales Orders and Transfer Orders via REST APIs/SOAP Webservices. (Please see the attached Screenshot of the UI Functionality)

We have REST/SOAP services to update shipment line details like - Quantity/Flexfields etc. but did not see any parameter for Line Status.
