When calling REST Endpoint from VBCS, and there is a empty response, how to handle it in VBCS

Summary:

When calling REST Endpoint ( OIC Integration created based on DB Adapter ) from VBCS, and there is a empty response from the DB, the OIC just sends <responsewrapper/> and on obtaining this in VBCS Action Chain, it goes to the failure path with this below exception,

Exception during RestActionError: An error occurred while using 'json' to convert the response (application/json; charset=UTF-8): Unexpected end of JSON input-1An error occurred while using 'json' to convert the response (application/json; charset=UTF-8): Unexpected end of JSON input
