Copy Assets from Subscription Workbench

Summary:

Can an asset be copied from the Subscription Workbench to a new transaction, without updating the copied asset?

Content (required):

To track all changes to our standard configurations, we would like to create an Asset repository where sales can select assets and then copy them into new transaction, but without updating the "original" asset.

As-is when using the [Modify] action the copied asset is updated when the new transaction is fulfilled., so basically we are looking for a [Copy] action in the Subscription Workbench.
