Failed consolidation results in balances on parent entities aggregating after each consolidation

Summary:

We're getting quite a few consolidations failing and are re-running forced consolidations. We are then seeing the balances on the parent entities aggregating - in some instances we've ended up with 4 or 5x the balance.

We're having to clear down the GL feed and to get users to reload, which then works OK until the consolidation fails again. How do we stop this? The whole process is time consuming and users are losing confidence in FCCS. We did add a new data source today and have had the issue a lot, but it was happening prior to this in what is a pretty stable build prior to this.
