Can customers Create Synonyms for Keywords for Typeahead, like with the Thesaurus on Search Results?

Question:

Customer would like to know if there is an equivalent for the typeahead functionality to create synonyms for keywords, like we offer the thesaurus on search results (Which does not affect typeahead results). How can a customer accomplish this same functionality for type ahead results?
