Summary and Content:

Using a Smart List, I want to be able to extract the label for a given Smart List value and load the Smart List label as a text value into a separate text value account using a Business Rule.

For example, in Smart List ABC stored in SL_Account I have the following values:

ID Label

1 ABC1

2 ABC2

3 ABC3

Using a Business Rule and perhaps a Planning Function similar to getIdforString, I want to be able to extract the value “ABC2” from SL_Account and have “ABC2” copied as a text value into ACCT_00001. Is there any way to accomplish this via business rule?

Howdy, Stranger!
