Using 2 different subject areas (Salary and Performance Rating) - Getting split/merged cells

Hi Experts,

I'm pretty much a beginner with reporting. My client wants an OTBI report that can pull salary details as well as latest performance ratings (overall manager ratings) along with some other fields. I've included 2 Subject Areas viz.

1) Compensation - Salary Details Real Time and

2) Workforce Performance- Performance Rating Real Time

However when I run the analysis, I get split cells in the Salary Column as well as the Ratings column as shown below

In this screenshot, 2nd row is the only row with Performance Rating. For the rest either evaluation didn't happen or don't apply.

If we look at the 2nd row (Person Number 10101) it starts off as a single row then at the New Salary Column it splits into 3 rows, becomes 2 rows at Overall Manager Ratings column and 3 again for Rating Level Name.
