$application.user.email is converting to lower case

Summary:

Hi Experts

When I'm making use of $application.user.email variable in VBCS application it is converting email address to lowercase but in IDCS the email address is not in lowercase (few letters) which is making my applicaiton to fail when I'm using this email address in Fusion Cloud publicworkers REST API for validation and get manager and assignment details.

Is it possible to get the email as is in IDCS i.e. visual builder should not convert it to lower case.

Or if anyone know how to use lower () clause in q parameter in Fusion REST API's .please help me
