Restrict User to Selected 'Sub inventories' in a Inventory Organization

Summary:

Hello, Looking for options to restrict User ( Warehouse Clerk) to access select list of Sub inventories. This user must be able to perform Inventory transactions for selected Sub inventories.

Business Case- we have multiple locations in US and we are maintenance nightmare to create Inventory Organizations for each location. We are looking to configure each location as Subinventory. This is great from Procurement side of business however when we think about Inventory Transactions, system will provide access to all the subinventory (Locations) in the country.

We are looking for criteria to restrict User access to few Subinventory / Subinventories.

Has anyone handed such requirement and what are the options to restrict the user to access subinventores?
