Best practice for managing content updates
Summary:
Looking for advice on best practice for managing updates to content. At this stage we're looking to explore this based on two scenarios, both for self paced offerings.
- Minor content update where we don't need to see which version learner has completed - Upload the new content. Delete the activity from the offering and replace with new content. Reconcile learning assignments.
- Major content update where we need to track that learners which version has been completed - Upload the new content. End date the current offering. Create a new offering with the new content as the activity.
My questions are mainly around scenario 2. Particularly where a learner has self-enrolled rather than having been assigned the learning by admin.
