Cell Data History shows in web UI but not Smart View?

Summary:

Has anyone found that Cell History (where it shows who entered the data and when, assuming it was via form/ad hoc) only shows in the web UI and not in Smart View?

If I go into a specific form in the web UI and right-click on a cell -> Change History, it shows the data input information

However, if I open that same form in Smart View and right-click the same exact cell and go to Smart View -> Cell History (or FCCS ribbon -> Cell Actions -> History), it does not show any data input information

Is this intended? Or perhaps I should submit an SR?
