Some questions about Query Tracker and ASO Aggregations

Summary:

I'm no expert on the aggregation functionality of ASO cubes using query tracking. In particular, I'm having trouble with the stated order of operations:

1.      Merge Incremental Data Slices (and clear zeros)

2.      Enable Query Tracking

3.      Users perform actions to generate tracking information

4.      Execute the Aggregation

Content (required):

Users' actions include smart pushes, which will create incremental slices, which means you have to merge again, which removes query tracking data. There isn't a way to get a period of time of user actions done by the actual users that won't include at least one smart push. Thus I'm stuck with an entirely manual process of having to take the system down to keep users out, do the merge, enable the tracking, run reports myself, and then executing the aggregation. I did this in our test environment, and it resulted in huge gains in report performance, so I know

Howdy, Stranger!
