Budget resource enddates are not in line with task enddate

Summary:

We have the following scenario:

Project is created with enddate 31-12-22. A budget/forecast is created. Then project and task enddates are changed to 30-04-23.

However only new resource lines have this new enddate. Old resource lines are stuck with the old enddate.

We are importing the budget/forecast from EPM (custom interface), so updates to old lines are rejected in the import.

How can I update resource enddates automatically, so they are in line with task enddates?
