Restrict initial/period mass copy to specific asset of assets

We want to restrict the initial/periodic mass copy to a specific set of assets as we don't want to copy all the assets from corporate to tax, is it possible by grouping through asset categories. Suppose I have Furniture & Fixtures categories which is associated with Corporate and Tax books whereas Buildings category is associated with just corporate books and not with Tax books. Now when I run Initial/ Period mass copy will this be restricted to only Furniture & Fixture asset?
