Add new column to be queried in a seeded data report

Hi, I am trying to create a sales order acknowledgement report and I have a couple questions:

Does anyone know how to add new columns to the xml of a seeded sales order report in BIP? Also is there a way in which we can get the full xml of sales order report which has all the columns including the EFF columns?

So far I am able to query most of the columns I want but I am unsure how to map the data to it's place in the report.
