We ran a demand plan and it ended in error with the message below: 
"The plan's population contains products, but the products do not have any historical data. This may be due to plan filters or lack of available data." 

The demand plan is the first plan defined and to be run on the instance. Data Collection run prior to performing the run on the plan.
