Introduction

In this thread, we explore how to use a 3rd party tool called Postman to interact with the REST APIs that are available with your Oracle Project Management cloud subscription.

Whilst this thread is primarily intended for Application Implementation Consultants, Project Application Administrators and Project Integration Specialists, any user role can interact with our REST APIs, so long as they have the required privileges and data access.

Use cases for invoking REST APIs in Postman include:

  • Prototyping, testing or debugging;
    • Custom integrations with PaaS solutions and/or third-party applications
    • Automation solutions, which are focussed on improving productivity by orchestrating the maintenance of business objects within a business process flow
