ARCS Email Notifications Question

Hello,

As part of the Testing for our OCI Gen 2 ARCS Pod, we want to test whether or not email sent from the new OCI gen 2 pod will get caught in our spam filters. My plan is to create a singular reconciliation an update it, which will then be sent to the reviewer.

My question is, are emails for reconciliation updates stored in a queue? Or are emails only generated when there is an new update when the "Email Notifications" job runs?

In other words, if I turned on email notifications in the Configuration Settings, will the system try to "Catch up" and send emails for every reconciliation update that may have happened previous to enabling notifications? Or will it only send emails for updates that happen after enabling notifications?
