Summary:

Lot expiration action is a value that can be created. It literally doesn't mean anything. Would like to know how a notification can be generated on the lot Expiration date. I understand that when a lot expires, the lot isn't considered on-hand supply when the user is performing min-max or reorder point planning calculations.

Additionally, an expired lot:

  • Cannot be reserved for a date beyond the expiration date.
  • Is included in on-hand quantities, and can be transacted.
  • Is included in a cycle count; cycle count entry and adjustments are allowed.

But really need to know the use of the Lot Expiration Action and if there is a notification for it.

Howdy, Stranger!
