Changing 'Change History' Label

Within several of our objects, we are auditing several fields that are reported within the Change History tab. Recently we had a request from the business to change the label of "Change History" to another value. When I go into the application composer, open one of the layouts we are auditing, and enter the change history subtab, there doesn't seem to be a way to change the name of the subtab. The layouts are a bit complex with several fields having layers of groovy scripting, so we are extremely hesitant about creating a new layout with the new sub-tab name.
