Shared Connections Across Projects in OIC Gen3

We just recently upgraded to OIC Gen3 and are evaluating the new powerful feature of Projects. While I conceptually understand what Projects are and how they would be used, I'm a little torn on their use given that connections don't seem to be able to be shared across projects. Is there a way to make them shared (like making an integration shared by all projects?). For instance, we have a generic "Fusion SaaS REST API" connection that we use in all of our integrations to connect to Fusion Apps. This is nice because we only have to maintain the credentials
