Repeating resource exceptions

I have two questions:

1> We would like to repeat resource exception for a specific day in a week for next few years.

Currently, we are able to create resource exception by each shift.

Business scenario: There are two department in an organisation, say Dep A and Dep B. Mfg Plant runs for 3 shifts, shift 1, shift2 and shift3.

All the resources in Dep A works all 3 shifts and some resources in Dep B works for all 3 shifts, whereas, few other resources in Dep B works for 1 or 2 shifts on fridays. Instead of creating exceptions for each shift every friday for next 3 years, can we create repeating exceptions for few resources?
