Metadata Integration between EPM Cloud Applications

How to integrate metadata between EPM Cloud Applications? How to transfer metadata files to other EPM applications?

Hi all,


between two EPM applications shall certain dimensions (Account, Entity, a couple of custom dimensions) be 100% identical.

Manually the process is quite simple: In application 1 download metadata, download file, upload file in application 2 and import.


How to automate this?

So far I found two approaches:

  1. Start import and export metadata jobs via groovy.
  2. Do the same but only for specific dimension properties via data management.

Both approaches have the challenge of getting the file from one application to the other. Customer does not want to use EPM Automate what other options are there?
