Is there a method to migrate specific artifacts from test to production in EDM?

Summary:

If I build a new viewpoint, hierarchy set, node type, subscriptions, properties, etc in my EDM test environment is there any way to migrate just the pieces or artifacts that I need to EDM production? If not, any advice as to how anyone else is handling this today when larger changes are needed?

Aside from rebuilding / configuring specific items in production that were built and tested in the test environment, is there any way to bring over specific items systemically using migration? It seems that EDM still can only export the "Repository Data" section as a whole.
