Is there a member cell information equivalent in Smartview VBA for EPBCS Planning connections?

We recently implemented EPBCS and for one application we shifted from an ASO Essbase application to an EPBCS Planning ASO Plan Type.

In Smartview with Essbase connections you could use the Cell Information button to see UDA and Attributes assigned to that member. Also, we had a custom Excel Add-in that includes functions that call the HypOtlGetMemberInfo vba function for the same Essbase ASO application where we could reference a cell on a worksheet containing a project member and in another cell we can return the specific attribute value for that member.

Has anyone found a way to perform the same either in VBA or within the Smartview ribbon to get assigned attribute values but in EPBCS Planning applications?
