Can an Item Level DFF be collected and used in Supplies and Demands table?

Summary:

We have a requirement with a client we're working with to collect an item level attribute into the supplies and demands table to be used in filtering and building out conditions. We know that planning Attributes can be collected through the planning attributes, but that is only for transactional data on WO's, TO's, and PO's. There are some item attributes that are available (Make or Buy, Planner Code, etc...) and we can see the DFF in our Items Table, but we're unable to see it in the Supplies and Demands Table. Has anyone faced this issue and have any solution?
